Inspired by Diabetes, a collaboration between Eli Lilly and the International Diabetes Federation’s Unite for Diabetes initiative, aims to engage people in the Middle East who have diabetes, as well as their family and friends, and invites them to express how diabetes has impacted their lives. The contest is a unique way of drawing attention to the global epidemic that affects nearly 250 million people worldwide.
Inspired by Diabetes is a yearly competition but the need to raise awareness about the impact of diabetes in the region grows greater every day. This forum can be used to express personal stories about diabetes, post artwork and share information.
Please join the discussion and encourage your friends and loved ones to join in also. Diabetes doesn’t have to be known as the ’silent killer’!
